My present research involves:


Purification of proteins by chromatography and ultrafiltration.

Quantification and identification of proteins by 2-D gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.

Functionality testing: rheometry, uniaxial compression, interfacial tension, foam stability, emulsion stability.


I am currently a participant in the project proPOTATO with the aim of producing high quality potato protein. The main focus is inhibition of polyphenol oxidase and lowering of glycoalkaloid content.
