Tine defended her PhD thesis in December 2014 titled "Essays on Bullying: An Economist's Perspective." She is now an assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business at Aarhus University. Her research areas of interests includes Applied Microeconometrics, Labor Economics, Economics of Education, Health Economics and Crime. Her future research will focus explicitly on explaining the relationship between the Labor Market and Crime. Furthermore she will still focus on bullying in the Workplace through the LEAP project where the researchers examine the effects of leadership style on bullying in the work place and productivity.
