Project experiences & managements
Has been Principal investigator, project manager and project working package responsible for around 40 research projects in Bio-environmental engineering, including climatic system modelling and control; air quality and air distribution control in room, instrumentation and sensing, modelling mass transfer in emission boundary layer, odour and gases emission and dispersion from livestock buildings.
As principle supervisor and co-supervisor, has supervised 9 PhDs & 2 post docs in the areas of modelling and control of indoor climate, air distribution and gas & odour emission from livestock buildings. Is currently the principle supervisor for 2 Ph.D. projects: “Complex Ventilation and Micro-environmental Control in Livestock Housing” and “Adaptive Smart Natural Ventilation for Cattle Building and Integrated Thermal Sensing”, and an industrial postdoc project: “Smart Ventilation for future livestock buildings focus on environment, energy consumption and indoor air quality”.
