About Anja

Anja Bechmann's current research examines social behavioral patterns and activities, interoperability and personal information data flow in social media across digital platforms and services. Her overall research interest is digital sociology, behavioral patterns, statistical learning, mobile internet/smartphones, open APIs, interoperability and data linkability, personal data exchange and privacy regulation on the internet. She is both a board member of the Danish Council for IT Security and appointed member of ATVs digital Sages. She acts as a supervisor for MA and PhD theses within the areas of internet and mobile research (user and industry studies) with a focus on qualitative and quantitative data driven methods. Photo: Greg McQueen
